SXSWi - it's all about the conversation ... and a SEESMIC PARTY!

[Cathy Brooks - Executive Producer, Seesmic]

The raccoon pack is heading for SXSW Interactive and we've set up a daily watering hole/grubfest and have some space for others to join us!

We decided that we wanted to try something a bit different for this event, and rather than forking over excessive wads of cash for a big booth where it's too loud for anyone to talk, we wanted to do something that played a bit more directly into the core premise of what Seesmic is all about - conversation.

So we joined forced with Unwired Nation and will be one of a select group of sponsors hosting a daily cocktail party at a hot new Brazilian restaurant just across from the convention center.

The idea is simple.

On March 8, 9, 10 and 11 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm we'll be hosting an Entrepreneurs'/VIP Lounge at Fogo de Chao. (That's located at 309 E. 3rd Street in Austin, TX - directly across from the convention center.)

Along with Unwired Nation we have reserved the roof deck at this cool new spot and will offer our guests an open bar and buffet, along with wireless internet and some spots to hang out, talk and get to know each other.  Of course we'll have a spot set up to show off Seesmic for those who may not know us yet. We'll also have some Seesmic stars on hand!

We've posted the details - including how to RSVP if you wish to join us, the address and all that good stuff - at Upcoming.org. PLEASE NOTE: Space is VERY limited and we have a finite number of passes for each day. You can find our event post here. Please read it for details on how to RSVP.
