Seesmic as a tool
[by Jeremy Vaught, Community Blogger - Seesmic]
Seesmic is about the community, so what I love to see is how Seesmicers use the tools available and make them fit into what they need.
An example of this that Thomas from Seesmic just pointed out to me is an interview, apparently done halfway around the world from each other, and embedded on their website. Simpler to do than a podcast, more engaging than just text, this is a great mash-up of the tools available to have a great result.
I linked it above, but here it is again. I encourage you to check it out if you are at all interested in culture, travel, and/or living abroad.
Another example, while simpler, is two fold. First, I love that these guys are having a high minded discussion on Seesmic.com talking about science and stuff, go figure. So one member of the discussion, AJ started the conversation on his blog as well. Putting his content where he can get the most use out of it is clearly an advantage. And now that we have threads in the embedded player, you can even participate in the conversation, right from his blog. Now that IS science! :)
Finally, I would be remiss to have a discussion about using Seesmic to do cool things and not include tiil. So please check this out. It is a wrap-up of the videos from Beatrice during her trip to Cannes for Seesmic.
Ok, the final finally, speaking of Beatrice, I just came across this youtube video by Beatrice about Seesmic. It is all old-ish news now, but still, ummm, interesting.

Thanks so much for your support, while helping us to solve our problem for this interview.
Seesmic is indeed a great tool for such things and for sure i'll continue to use it for interviews all around the blog for my blog.
Keep it up !
