This morning we released some great features, so let’s get to ‘splainin’.
- Blocking – You can now block a user who’s videos you don’t want to see on your timeline. UPDATE: The way to block a user, is when you are on their video, click "View Profile" which will give you more detail. Then at the bottom of the expanded profile, under the following and followers tab, you will find the "Block username" link.
- New Sidebar – The sidebar on the right-hand side of the screen is now tabbed to include "Featured Videos" and "Active Conversations" in their own tab.
- "Show Post in Public Timeline" checkbox – Now when you record a video, you can opt to not have it show up in the public timeline.
Right after the jump is Mr. AskSeesmic himself, Thomas Knoll, to explain the updates, in video:
that when he first came to San Francisco he used to meet with friends and discuss an idea every week, be it big or small, lame or awesome. As most any entrepreneur will tell you, any small idea can end up being a very big idea.
