PollDaddy.com adds Seesmic

[by Jeremy Vaught, Community Blogger - Seesmic]

PollDaddy.com added Seesmic to their polls that can be embedded seemingly everywhere.  I have been playing around Polldaddy.com logo with the service this morning and found it extremely easy to use.  PollDaddy has a great thing going, for example, their technology is used by FOX, TechCrunch, CBS, CBC, PCWorld and many more.  As for some geeky stats, PollDaddy is responsible for almost 100,000 polls being created each month, which in turn generate 100 million widget impressions, and collect 11 million votes.

I asked lead developer of PollDaddyk David Lenehan, how easy it was to add Seesmic, and he said, " It was pretty easy to integrate to be honest so there isnt much to say there. We hope to add Seesmic comments to our directory site called PollDaddy answers too in the coming weeks. (http://answers.polldaddy.com)"

I also asked David, "Why Seesmic?"  His response is, "We choose Seesmic for two reasons. The first one is that its a great product and everyone seems to be using it. Its fastly becoming the first video site that springs to mind out side of Youtube which is a huge acheivement for you guys. The second reason is that Loic has always been a good friend to PollDaddy in the past and has promoted our stuff a few times so it was a very natural fit for us."

I have created a poll below using PollDaddy to show off this fantastic use of Seesmic in a 3rd party application, using admittedly corny videos.

See the poll, after the jump...
