Tiil's Seesmic iPhone app
[by Jeremy Vaught, Community Blogger - Seesmic]
Tiil, who is always coming up with innovative and creative Seesmic collaborations, has championed a new application he and a few others are building to put a Seesmic viewer on the iPhone.
You can find Tiil talking about this application in several of his videos, including this one on Seesmic, or at the bottom from Youtube. You can also find a demonstration video which is where I got the screen capture above at labs.searchmic.com, and if you have an iPhone or a Touch, you can direct your browser to labs.searchmic.com/iphone and experience if for yourself.
UPDATE: Seesmic's Joanikin let me know that she has been talking with Tiil, and gave me this information to also share:
- It's a web application for the iPhone and iPhone Touch with V2.0 software, the latest update
- View up to 21 messages from the public timeline
- You can Search for users and keywords
- Tiil worked in collaboration with JB, a student programmer where the app was developed over a few days and recently released.
- Tiil commented that Charles Cloughly is graciously providing the server space for this application.
Check it out and let Tiil know what you think! Thanks Tiil for all your efforts to improve the Seesmic experience.

HiJeremy,
Thanks for your post!
Charles Cloughly is also working with us. Without him and his "server" we couldn't have done it.

Nice web application!
But beware of the way you introduce it. It's not a downloadable application but a web application. In other words, you don't have to get it from Apple's App Store but just enter an URL into Safari.
Nice iPhone-optimized web app, though. :-)
