The Human Network

This Cisco ad could be a Seesmic ad, I love it.

but I love even more the John Chambers future speech at MIT on this great blog post, it is about 30 minutes and not only did I watch it all, I would love to have John as a speaker at LeWeb.

Video blogging and video as a personal way of conversation and promotion is very new and goes against most basic human feelings: being shy, afraid of looking bad, saying stupid things, etc. Yet video is the best way for anyone to know you in a few minutes, get your feelings, get that you are honest and get to know you in a way as close as possible to real life. Watch what Leo Laporte, Chris Pirillo or Gary Vaynerchuk are doing promoting their personal brands and how they leverage video.

Just stop thinking and start swimming. Do not think about any negative or fear and just start recording a little video a day for your friends. The ones who start early will be the winners.
