We've just released a new update for Seesmic for Android app. This version contains a number of improvements and fixes to small issues reported from our community.

We have addressed:

Allowing connection for servers which do not support xAuth
Ensure a secure and easy use with proxy settings

How to acquire the 1.4.1 Seesmic for Android app? You can download the app from the Android Market or simply update from your app's Settings.

With Seesmic for Android, we've gone all the way into including from the beginning features which make your social experience worthwhile. Be sure that this is just the first step. The team is working around the clock to take Seesmic for Android where no smart-phone app has gone before!

Seesmic Web is expanding its wardrobe so to speak! – introducing Facebook, LinkedIn, together with Ping.fm, Google Buzz and FourSquare all in one browser tab!
